I went to 5 major city of China, namely: Suzhou, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing and Shanghai

It was supposed to be a place full of mei nu. But dint see a lot of pretty gers on the street leh. Haha... Cant remember much abt the place since it was the 1st city I visited. Oh ya! I bought a pillow there, filled with " Can (3) Si (1)". In layman terms, it was filled with the vomit of the silkworm. It was good for health and the material was such that it will be bacteria free. Well, that was what the salesman said. Anyway, I kenak 17 mosquito bites in that factory alone. Nice way to start the journey man...Arghhh..

Hangzhou

The main highlight was the tea plantation. That was a Hongkong drama abt tea plantation which was exactly where we went. The villagers of this plantation all had the surname of " Mei". The tea was kinda different from what I drank before.. slightly lighter and fresher. The tea can be eaten as well! Anyway I learnt that we shouldnt cover the cup when we brew the tea, or else the tea will be boiled and lose all the vitamin and nutrients. Unless you are using those kind of pot that can " breathe". Owise a normal glass cup with 80 degree hot water will do the job.

Wuxi

Basically there was a lake called xi hu there. Nothing really special...i mean lake are all the same right? Just a pool of water... but the chinese legend behind it was entertaining though. It's the site where the white snake had been captured in the story of " Bai Se Zhuan". There was a belief that IF the lake was dried up and the Tower ( I forgot the spelling of ta (3)) collapsed, it signified the reborn of the Lady White Snake. Accordingly to our tour guide, it happened once and they really found 3 white snake under the tower. Amazing huh?

And ya, Wuxi oso produced bery sweet, juicy peaches! And it's cheap lor..ard 50 cents each. I went to the peach plantation as well. Damn disappointing, coz the peaches were all covered with newspapers so that they wont be attacked by insects. But then, it wasnt a pretty sight mah. Who wanna took pictures of peach trees with newspapers??? And Argh...got a couple more of mosquito bites there. Sobz!

It oso produced a kinda of peach that was so good that you can just poke a straw and suck up the flesh and left only the skin and seed. But never get to try, so dunno how true it was... keke

Nanjing

Shopping time! Got to go to Qi Bao Zheng! It consisted of 3 main building, make up of many small retail shops selling at wholesale price. And the place was gigantic...I mean you totally lost in there...too many shops, too many people. I bought a yellow dress @$26 & a white short @$9. dint buy much tot bec the other 2 gals too tired to walk...haha..next time then.

My tour guide recommended a place called Qi Bao Gu Zheng, whereby there would be many local delicacies. Dint go there bec it was kinda far from our hotel...next time liao..
